Chuck Baldwin on Government Reform

Constitution Party nominee for President; Reform Party nominee in several states

Eliminate Food and Drug Administration as unconstitutional

The federal government has no Constitutional provision to regulate or restrict the freedom of the people to have access to medical care, supplies or treatments. I, therefore, support the elimination of the federal Food and Drug Administration, as it has been the federal agency primarily responsible for prohibiting beneficial products, treatments, and technologies here in the United States that are freely available in much of the rest of the civilized world.

Opposes limits on free speech in campaign finance laws

On the First Amendment: McCain hates it. He has a law with his name on it that's primary based on suppressing freedom of political speech. He believes HE knows best, and you should shut up. Hillbama support thought crime laws that will not only punish you for speaking verboten words, but even thinking them. These people despise the first amendment. Chuck Baldwin opposes all limits on free speech.
