Frank McEnulty on Free Trade

New American Independent Party nominee for President

Trade agreements should help the American worker

Q: Do you support the United States involvement in intergovernmental organizations dedicated to trade?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you support the United States involvement in free trade agreements?

A: Undecided. We need to make sure that any future trade agreements we enter into do as much for the American worker as it does for the foreign worker. Too often our agreements seem short sighted in that they tend to give us access to cheap goods at the very expensive cost of jobs lost.
