Harriet Miers on Abortion

Supreme Court Justice (nominated by Pres. George W. Bush 2005; withdrew)

Fought ABA endorsement of Roe v. Wade

The president’s agents were busy reassuring supporters that Miers is rock solid on abortion, though of course she cannot say so. About the only evidence is her performance as head of the Texas Bar Association in fighting endorsement of the Roe v. Wade decision by the American Bar Association.
