Q: What's your view on requiring companies to hire more women & minorities?

A: The federal government does not have the right to mandate who companies have to hire. A privately owned business should be able to make their own decisions.

People aren't born gay; no special protections needed

Q: Should sexual orientation be protected by civil rights laws?

A: I do not believe sexual orientation needs to be protected under any laws. If a straight person was harassed or intimidated by a group of gays, would any laws protect them? Unlike race, I do not believe people are born gay.
