Living wage for all Americans

Many of the hardest workers in our society receive wages that make it impossible to raise a family, or even support themselves. American workers should be guaranteed a living wage--period. While CEOs are earning tens of millions of dollars yearly; those who work the hardest receive less than living compensation. Democrats are trumpeting a false issue when they push minimum wage rhetoric. The old parties seem content to fight for "minimums" for workers, instead of fighting for a "living" for workers.
