Help defend Israel; undermine ideology of radical Islam

Q: The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.

A: Strongly Agree

Q: What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

A: The United States should take a three-pronged approach

  1. Unilateral direct action attacks to disrupt and destroy terrorist leadership around the world
  2. Advise and train local governments and militaries to provide their own security in places where terrorism thrives
  3. Work with moderate muslim governments and religious leaders to undermine the ideology of radical Islam, such as through educating girls and empowering women

PVS:Air support and more intervention in Mideast.

Waltz supports the PVS survey question on Mideast intervention

Project Vote Smart inferred whether candidates agree or disagree with the statement, 'National Security: Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?' PVS self-description: "The Political Courage Test provides voters with positions on key issues. Historically, candidates have failed to complete our test due to the advice they receive from their advisors and out of fear of negative attack ads."
