Mark Perea on Environment
Conservation is reserved to the states, not to the EPA
Q: Do you support or oppose the policy, `EPA regulations are too restrictive`?
A: Support, environmental conservation is a power reserved to the states and/or to the people.

Sustainable development assaults our property rights
Our property rights are under assault by the federal government and the UN under the guise of "sustainable development." I am the requester of a bill in the 2015
Legislature to outlaw this insidious attempt to end private ownership of property in America. UN planners admit that their method is to progressively limit a landowner's ability to use his or her own land by claiming false environmental concerns.
Montanans are among the most experienced and true conservationists in the world, and we know best how to care for our environment. It is our heritage.
We will not be fooled into giving up our private property to any government, whether it be state, federal, or international. If our current governor does not sign this bill in 2015, in 2017 I will.
