Myrth will negotiate tough deals with the pharmaceutical industry to reduce prices for Rhode Islanders by insisting that companies provide the working families of RI with the same discounts that they provide to government agencies. Maine has created a
similar program that states across the country are starting to replicate. Myrth will take a hard line with the pharmaceutical industry and initiate RI's effort to create real reductions in the price of medicines for the people of this state.
