Negotiate Rx drug prices; cover pre-existing conditions

The American people have been subsidizing prescription drug costs for the rest of the world for decades. When the same drug can be purchased abroad for ? of the cost, we know we need to change the rules of the game. No American should be forced to pay more for prescription drugs than the citizens of any other country. Allowing Medicare to negotiate prices directly would be a good start, as would requiring more transparency on reimbursement rates. One positive aspect of Obamacare was the requirement that insurance companies can no longer discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions. Replace ObamaCare with health savings accounts

Obamacare has been a complete disaster. It is always the case that people are most cost conscious when they are spending their own dollars. By allowing families to place pre-tax dollars into health savings accounts, we can put more power in the hands of patients and less in the hands of insurance companies. This will reduce the cost of care for everyone, as consumers will seek value and cost-effectiveness, which will force providers to compete for their business.
