Roxanne Conlin on Abortion

Support women's right to reproductive freedom

I believe in a women's right to reproductive freedom. We must do all we can to prevent unintended pregnancies and abortions should be legal, safe and rare. Senator Grassley does not support a woman's right to choose and has a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee.

Supports federal abortion funding.

Conlin supports the CC survey question on funding abortion

The Christian Coalition voter guide [is] one of the most powerful tools Christians have ever had to impact our society during elections. This simple tool has helped educate tens of millions of citizens across this nation as to where candidates for public office stand on key faith and family issues.

The CC survey summarizes candidate stances on the following topic:"Public funding of abortions, (such as govt. health benefits and Planned Parenthood)"

Endorsed by EMILY's list for pro-choice Democratic women.

Conlin signed 2010 Congressional endorsement list

Our immediate focus is to protect our gains from 2008 and make sure President Obama has strong Democratic majorities in Congress. Its name? EMILY's List--an acronym for "Early Money Is Like Yeast" (because it makes the dough--campaign funds--rise).
