It is high time that Congress puts differences aside and work towards a solution that encompasses the following points:

Secure Our Borders. It’s a matter of national security.
Enforce the Law, Hold Corporations Accountable for Hiring Undocumented Workers.

Republicans have a plan to privatize Social Security if they get the chance--and Bruce’s opponent has been a huge supporter of privatization. On War & Peace: Develop an exit strategy & a new direction for Iraq

Our foreign policy in Iraq is headed in the wrong direction and is in need of a change. It is time that Congress exercise oversight in the Iraq mess and push for a new direction, not more of the same.

Investigate Fraud and Abuse in Iraq.
Turn the Fighting Over to the Iraqis. The President needs to develop an exit strategy that includes some sort of timetable for bringing our brave troops home.
Ensure Our Troops Have the Body Armor They Need.
