On Energy & Oil: End our dependence on foreign oil with wind & solar

Q: What about suspending the gas tax?

A: It’s like feeding your children candy instead of roast beef. I’ve been behind the lines of power in government. There are giant multinational corporations who tell elected officials how they can and can’t vote. We need to start with renewable energy like wind and solar and end our dependence on foreign oil.

On Energy & Oil: Invest billions to help clean energy entrepreneurs

The most patriotic thing we could have done on September 12th would have been a move for conservation. We should have led to the way to independence on foreign oil. The oil companies own 68 million acres of leases on and offshore of the United States. They’re making tons of money selling oil being drilled in Saudi Arabia.
