Josh Lanier: Help cities with mass transit and farmers in small towns too

In Washington we talk about mass transit as if every town and every city is a large metropolitan area. If you’re a farmer, you still have to drive the same amount of miles and there’s a lot the government can do to help. There are established programs today that can be applied to Georgia.

Vernon Jones: Capture methane gas from landfills for electricity

Out in Dekalb County, we’re capturing the methane gas from landfills. We’ve partnered with Georgia Power to convert it into electricity. I’ve invested in our water and sewer infrastructure. We’re working on recycling our water.
