Robert Bentley: Right to Life applies to most vulnerable & most helpless

When I took the Oath of Office, I swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Alabama. I am, and have always been, a strong supporter of the Constitution on which our nation and our states were founded. The 10th Amendment, which guarantees those powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States, or to the people.

I will always firmly uphold these Truths which are self-evident, that all men are created equal. That all are given, by their Creator, the Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The most vulnerable, the most helpless, the most abused & the most oppressed. The elderly, the ill--and especially the unborn--everyone has been endowed with the Right to a Life. I will do everything as Governor to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and protect our Freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

Peter Shumlin: Assist companies doing stem cell research in Vermont

Assist companies doing stem cell research in Vermont Northeast Kingdom, the area of our state that for generations has struggled with chronically high unemployment rates and low incomes. Assist companies doing stem cell research in Vermont Under my proposal, high schools and tech centers in the Kingdom would become an Innovation Zone and would be able to shift current generic course requirements to focus on those that provide the training the region needs.

Andrew Cuomo: Let women make decision: pregnancy, adoption, or abortion

New York was a national leader protecting choice even before the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision. Governor Cuomo will continue to vigorously protect a woman's right to choose. Therefore, he will fight for passage of the Reproductive Health Act, which will protect the fundamental right of reproductive freedom and a woman's right to make private health care decisions. A woman facing an unplanned or problem pregnancy should have the opportunity to make the best decision for herself and her family, whether her decision is continuing the pregnancy, adoption, or abortion.
