Curtis Coleman in 2016 AR Senate race

On Homeland Security: AdWatch: Boozman voted to curtail civil liberties; I won't

Senate candidate Curtis Coleman launched a new video going after Sen. John Boozman. Coleman is a Republican challenger seeking Boozman's U.S. Senate seat.

In his video, Coleman attacks Boozman's voting record and calls it one of the "worst on record." He ties a number of Boozman's votes to President Barack Obama's agenda and said he "voted to curtail civil liberties."

"John is an incredibly nice person, but we don't need someone to go to the Senate to be Barack Obama's best friend. We need someone to be Tom Cotton's wingman," Coleman said.

Coleman mentioned in his video that Boozman got an "F" on his liberty score from Conservative Review. Wrapping up, Coleman said that if he gets elected, he'll be Arkansas' "pro-civil liberties" senator.

On Budget & Economy: Work tirelessly to reduce our deficit & pay back $18T debt

America currently has a financial crisis written into law. We have over $18 Trillion of debt, and $127 Trillion in unfunded liabilities, promises we have made that we cannot keep. I pledge to work tirelessly to reduce our deficit, and to start paying back our debt, as well as restructuring our unfunded liabilities so that we can afford them all.

As a small businessman and entrepreneur, I will be a champion of small business in the Senate. I will never vote for crony capitalism, nor subsidies for politically connected friends, and will significantly reduce the red tape which is choking our economy.

On Civil Rights: Protect right to free practice of our faith

1st Amendment and Religious Liberty: I believe in protecting ALL of the rights outlined in the 1st Amendment, including the right to free practice of our faith.

10th Amendment and Federalism: I believe the principles of the 10th Amendment must be restored--any power not granted to the Federal Government is a power reserved for the States or the People.

On Environment: EPA poses a serious threat to property rights

The EPA is out of control, and poses a serious threat to property rights. I will work tirelessly to rein in this agency, and find smarter, less intrusive ways to preserve our beautiful State and Nation.

On Government Reform: 12-year term limits: citizen legislators and judges

I strongly believe in citizen legislators, and thus I support a 12-year term limit for members of Congress, both in the House and the Senate. That is why I am also pledging to personally serve for no more than 12 years. I also support term limits for Supreme Court Justices.

On Immigration: 100% opposed to amnesty in any form or by any mechanism

I am 100% opposed to amnesty. I will not vote for any piece of legislation that grants amnesty, or ones that fund amnesty in any form or by any mechanism. We must secure our border first, above all else.

On Tax Reform: Simple Flat Tax plan: 10% for all personal income tax

Americans are overtaxed. I support Ted Cruz's Simple Flat Tax plan. From Senator Cruz's website: "Under the Simple Flat Tax, the current seven rates of personal income tax will collapse into a single low rate of 10 percent. For a family of four, the first $36,000 will be tax-free. The Child Tax Credit will remain in place. The IRS will cease to exist as we know it, there will be zero targeting of individuals based on their faith or political beliefs, and there will be no way for thousands of agents to manipulate the system. For businesses, the corporate income tax will be eliminated. It will be replaced by a simple Business Flat Tax at a single 16 percent rate. The current payroll tax system will be abolished, while maintaining full funding for Social Security and Medicare."
