Chris Vance: 20,000 more border patrol officers, plus path to legality

Chris Vance: Strongly support. Comprehensive Immigration Reform needs to include the following: Better border security. We won't have a meaningful immigration system if we can't regulate who is entering the country. We should hire 20,000 more border patrol officers, and add more fencing and security systems on the border. A path to legality for those already here. Once we have secured the border, Illegal Immigrants who have been here for many years who not broken any laws while here should be offered a path to legal status that includes paying a fine and undergoing a background check. A guest worker program. We need a well regulated system to allow people to enter temporarily, work, and then return home.
