Scott Walker (R): No. "There has not been any measurable warming in the last 15 or 20 years." Sued Obama administration over emission regulations, calling them "a buzz saw to the nation's economy." Also cut budget of state scientists researching areas related to climate change.

Tony Evers (D): Overturn Citizens United. Reverse Walker-supported law that limited political corruption investigations, doubled campaign contribution limits, & eased cooperation between candidates & outside groups.

Scott Walker (R): No public statement on Citizens United. To avoid "political witch hunts," he & allies pushed through a law to limit some corruption investigations. See defense & criticism of his approach to campaign finance limits and these investigations.

Tony Evers (D): No. Will "close the chapter of voter suppression in Wisconsin." Supports automatic voter registration.

Scott Walker (R): Yes. Necessary to prevent voter fraud.

On Education: AdWatch: should have fired teacher caught viewing porn

The state party already made the Harris case into a $500,000 ad buy purchased before the race was even called, signaling the case will be a cornerstone of Republicans' strategy to beat Evers.

Republicans have argued Evers should have revoked Harris' teacher's license, but Evers has said state law wouldn't allow him to at the time Harris' case came before the Department of Public Instruction because students were not exposed to the material.

Evers and lawmakers worked to change state law to give Evers the authority to revoke teaching licenses in cases like Harris'.

On Civil Rights: Fight clandestine discrimination against LGBTQ people

Tony is a strong ally who will continue to fight back against clandestine legislation that discriminates against LGBTQ people. He opposes attempts by the Legislature to outlaw local non-discrimination ordinances that protect people's basic rights. He also has been a vocal opponent of the so-called "bathroom bills" and other attacks on LGBTQ youth.
