Patrick Morrisey: Aggressive efforts against illegal immigration

The country's lax immigration laws pose a security risk to our homeland. Morrisey successfully filed suit against the Obama amnesty program and opposes sanctuary cities. He believes we need a comprehensive plan to tackle illegal immigration and protect our country, including more aggressive efforts to track the flow of visitors; building a wall; establishing more thorough vetting of security risks, and pushing greater coordination between law enforcement agencies.

Paula Jean Swearengin: Create swift, secure path to citizenship

One of our great strengths as a society is our healthy population growth thanks to immigration. The idea that America would be better off deporting 11 million contributors to our society and economy is ludicrous. Immigrants pay taxes and perform millions of important jobs. We need them. We should establish legal immigration centers around the world to recruit the best working families in Latin America, the Caribbean, and elsewhere to join us.
