On Environment: Support nuclear power

John Hickenlooper on Nuclear Power: Support nuclear power.

FIVE CANDIDATES HAVE SIMILAR VIEWS: Cory Booker; Peter Buttigieg; John Delaney; John Hickenlooper; Amy Klobuchar; Andrew Yang.

Many environmentalists and scientists believe it will be impossible to decarbonize the power sector and fight climate change without maintaining nuclear power, because it offers more capacity than renewables and is more reliable to dispatch since it does not rely on the wind or sunshine.

Three Democrats do not support eliminating the Electoral College. Delaney dismissed the idea as impractical. Both Hickenlooper and Yang have expressed reservations about the idea. Instead, Yang, on his campaign's website, calls for reforms to the Electoral College by "making electors determined on a proportional basis."

On Jobs: Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour

Hickenlooper on Minimum Wage: Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour.

19 CANDIDATES HAVE SIMILAR VIEWS: Joseph Biden, Jr.; Cory Booker; Steve Bullock; Peter Buttigieg; Julian Castro; Bill de Blasio; John Delaney; Tulsi Gabbard; Kirsten Gillibrand; Kamala Harris; Jay Inslee; Amy Klobuchar; Seth Moulton; Beto O`Rourke; Tim Ryan; Bernard Sanders; Eric Swalwell; Elizabeth Warren; Marianne Williamson.

There's broad support among Democratic presidential candidates for doubling the hourly minimum from $7.25 to $15, and then allowing it to rise automatically with inflation, as proposed by House Democrats in the Raise the Wage Act. Even centrists like Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and former Vice President Joe Biden favor this. In 2016, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton favored going only to $12 (though she expressed strong support for states that raised it to $15).

On Technology: $1 trillion for infrastructure from raised taxes

Hickenlooper on Transportation : Pay for infrastructure through changing taxes on corporations & the wealthy.

TWO CANDIDATES HAVE SIMILAR VIEWS: Amy Klobuchar; Beto O`Rourke.

Virtually all other candidates $1.5 trillion attempt to respond to climate change, much of which appears focused on research. Beyond that the specifics get nebulous, other than a line saying he wants some of it to go to grants that "cut commutes, crashes and carbon pollution," including increased access to transit options. Read more about his plan here.

John Hickenlooper has said he wants a $1 trillion infrastructure investment with a focus on clean energy and rural broadband.
