Ted Cruz: No rioters came to Houston because of Second Amendment

When we saw riots all across the country, I remember there were reports that riots were going to come into. Mostly peaceful, fiery, but mostly peaceful. There were reports, riots were going to come into the suburbs. I got to tell you, in Houston, where I live, there weren't any rioters. Because, let's be very clear, if there had been, they would discover what the state of Texas thinks about the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Rick Scott: Red flag laws allow liberal states to prevent due process

You've seen establishment Republicans give the Democrats just enough votes to pass left-wing legislation. You remember Biden's so-called infrastructure bill, right? It is really a Green New Deal bill. Blow up the inflation. How about the Safer Communities Act? There's nothing safer about it. It trampled on our Second Amendment rights and gave liberal states the kind of red flag laws that prevent due process.

Perry Johnson: I am pro-Second Amendment; I am pro-freedom

Johnson also shared a longer video of his remarks at CPAC on his own Twitter account. It had been posted by conservative outlet Real America's Voice. In those remarks, Johnson said: "I am pro-life. I am pro-Second Amendment. I am pro-family. I am pro-freedom and let's face it, I am anti-China."
