Brooks urged conservatives [at CPAC] to "fight for America" like the colonial soldiers who endured a freezing winter at Valley Forge during the American Revolution. "That's the kind of sacrifice we have to think about," he said. "Our choice is simple: we can surrender or we can fight back," Brooks said of the situation facing conservatives now.
