On Immigration: Secure border but give visas to those come legally

While Salazar's website does not list abortion among her issues, she did oppose taxpayer funding of abortion in her questionnaire for the state's Catholic bishops conference, and ran on "pro-life values" in 2018, according to the University of Miami student newspaper.

On Principles & Values: Criticizes both Dems and Republicans for offensive comments

Florida's congressional Democrats voted approving a resolution that would strip Greene of her committee assignments. The surprise came when they were joined by Mario Diaz-Balart, Carlos Gimenez and Maria Elvira Salazar, three Republicans. "As I have repeatedly criticized Ilhan Omar for her anti-Semitic comments, I had to hold Marjorie Greene accountable for her denial of the Parkland massacre, the Flight 77 crash, and accusing a Jewish family of starting the California wildfires," Salazar said.

On Drugs: Secure the Mexican border against drug smugglers

On the southern border: "I would definitely vote in order to secure the border," Salazar said.ÿ"That means any type of tower, any type of technology, any type of guards for border security because we do not want El Chapo or his friends smuggling drugs. We need to reform our immigration system and we need to give visas to those that are coming to pick up Jalapeno peppers in Southern California or to clean toilets in Orlando or in Manhattan. "
