On Civil Rights: Sexual orientation should not influence rights

I believe that orientation should not influence access or rights. Even in the metro-Atlanta region, persons along the sexuality spectrum have been forced to live in denial or only partially acknowledging who they are. As a member of Congress, I will continue the work for equality in public policy to which I was committed when I served on the Atlanta City Council.

On Drugs: Decriminalize pot; find process to expunge those convictions

On judicial issues, he hopes to see marijuana removed from federal controlled substance lists and provide a process for expunging marijuana-related convictions.

On Energy & Oil: Supports aggressive renewable energy goals

For the last 15 years, Kwanza has been working tirelessly to preserve, maintain, and build our parks and green spaces. Wrote and unanimously passed a resolution to make Atlanta 100% Clean and Renewable energy by 2035.
