"Whenever we discuss the issues that matter most to Americans--like access to health care, affordability of housing, or workplace protections--we must consider how our LGBTQ+ community is disproportionately at risk," said Rep. Susan Wild (PA-7). "At every turn, I've been proud to advocate for LGBTQ+ individuals both overseas through my work on human rights with the Foreign Affairs Committee as well as here at home through my work on mental health. I was so proud that in my first term, the House of Representatives was finally able to pass the Equality Act and take huge steps to enshrine equality for the LGBTQ+ community in law. I am honored to have the support of the Human Rights Campaign and look forward to continuing our work together in the years to come."
