2020 NJ Senatorial race: on Abortion

Hirsh Singh: New Jersey should promote a philosophy of life, not death

I believe that we must demonstrate to our children that we value their lives--one day we will rely on them to value ours. New Jersey should promote a philosophy of life within our government, not death. New Jersey must demonstrate this philosophy by refusing to fund organizations whose primary purpose is to end the lives of our children. How many of our future leaders, engineers, doctors, scholars and inventors have we lost simply because they weren't considered human in their mother's womb?

Rik Mehta: Protect unborn children from the moment of conception

Rik is pro-life. In the Senate, he will vote to protect unborn children from the moment of conception, while also ensuring that expectant mothers receive all the care and support that they need. Rik opposes taxpayer funds being used to provide abortion, believes we should ban late-term abortions, and that a parent or guardian must be notified when a minor child is seeking an abortion.
