Nathan Dahm: Taking an innocent life through abortion must be stopped

Dahm has filed a trio of abortion-related measures to prohibit abortion procedures and limit funding to Planned Parenthood in the state. "For almost half a century, our nation has sacrificed unborn children, costing over 60 million lives. The core and proper function of government is to protect our rights. Any attempt to knowingly and willingly take an innocent life through abortion must be stopped."

Caroline Gleich: No place for the government in intimate, personal decisions

When I was 36, I made the decision to freeze my eggs and embryos for fertility preservation. There are many reasons why people undergo these treatments, but, no matter the circumstance, there is absolutely no place for the government in intimate, personal decisions like when and how to start a family. As Utah's next senator, I will fiercely defend reproductive freedoms and family values, because Utah women are tired of being pawns in these increasingly extreme political games.
