2020 TX Senate race: on Corporations

MJ Hegar: Corporations & wealthy need to pay higher taxes

When asked if she supported another coronavirus relief stimulus package, Hegar said that she was worried that the reopening process is moving too hastily and might "cause more damages to small businesses," but did not directly say if she supported another stimulus. Hegar added that she was concerned about the national debt and believes that corporations and wealthy Americans need to pay higher taxes.

Cristina Tzintzun Ramirez: Increase funding for Small Business Administration

Small businesses are the engine of the U.S. economy. In Texas, small businesses represent over 99 percent of businesses and 45 percent of our workforce. As Senator, Cristina would ensure that Texas entrepreneurs can succeed by increasing funding for the Small Business Administration to provide access to low-interest loans and other programs to support aspiring business owners.

Sema Hernandez: Break the oligarchy protecting Wall Street instead of people

Don't sell out. Have a genuine platform that represents what you believe in, but also what the people want. Do not be a politician, be real. Don't use your family as a prop. At the end of the day it is you who are serving, not your family. And we must work together to break the oligarchy that controls our government through an agenda that protects Wall Street instead of the people.

Sema Hernandez: Entitled millionaires are free-loading from us

Taxes are going up because a FEW entitled millionaires & billionaires are free loading from us, the working class. This is class warfare, the 1% divide us, scapegoat to deflect & distract us. #TaxTheRich #TexasPrimaries #ElectionDay
