Cynthia Lummis: Keep sanctions on Iran; no nuke deal

Today Rep. Lummis voted against approving President Obama's proposed deal with Iran and voted to protect sanctions on Iran from being arbitrarily lifted by the President until January 2017.

"What we know of President Obama's proposed deal with Iran is egregious and will lead to a nuclear-armed Iran," said Rep. Lummis. "Iran is the leading state sponsor of terror in the world and cannot be trusted so any deal with Iran must be built on verification. The blind trust that President Obama's deal places in Iran, ceding verification, is outrageous. This deal is an historic mistake and must be rejected."
