On Abortion:
Pro-life; worked on informed consent & ultrasound laws
Janice is a proven conservative leader with an established track record of working with others to promote fiscal responsibility. She is committed to Keeping Idaho Conservative and, as a staunchly pro-life legislator, worked to implement
Informed Consent and Ultrasound laws designed to protect the life and health of the mother and unborn child.

On Budget & Economy:
Ready to wean ourselves off the federal teat
We must get our financial house in order. Our country is nearly $30 trillion in debt, inflation is rising quickly, and the position of the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency is at risk.
We can't solve all of our nation's financial woes here in Idaho, but we must do our part to get our fiscal house in order, even if it means weaning ourselves off the federal teet [sic].

On Civil Rights:
Defends traditional marriage as defined in our constitution
I have a long history of standing up for traditional conservativism, even though the media and elites routinely mock and reject our values. Strong families are foundational to our value system. My 100% pro-life voting record, my defense of traditional
marriage as defined in our constitution, and my work on implementing the 'Women's Informed Consent' law, which provides women considering abortions with valuable information and resources, speak to my dedication on these issues.

On Corporations:
Remove occupational licensing mandates & other regulations
I have consistently supported legislation to protect small businesses and independent practitioners.
We can open more doors to success for Idahoans by removing occupational licensing mandates and other regulations that stand in the way of personal and business achievement.

On Crime:
Family hires former convicts within their businesses
Our family proudly supports the successful workforce re-entry of formerly incarcerated
Idahoans by providing them opportunities for gainful employment within our family businesses.

On Education:
Children should not be taught to hate America nor each other
Education is one of our traditional values. I do not support cronyism that costs Idaho's taxpayers tens of millions of dollars. Idaho needs an education system that prepares young people to live productive lives, not one that indoctrinates them in
Marxist, socialist ideology. Our children should not be taught to hate America nor to hate each other. I have assembled a Task Force that will soon begin assessing these issues.Yesterday evening,
I was on Tucker Carlson Tonight to talk about our efforts to Make Idaho Free Again. Our state and our country are under attack. The radical left is working overtime to undermine our individual rights, compromise our state sovereignty,
and obliterate our traditional conservative values. They are infiltrating our schools and universities with Marxist indoctrination and the lies and fallacies of critical race theory.

On Education:
Supports internships, apprenticeship training, trade schools
I have long been a strong supporter of internships, apprenticeship training, and trade schools. It's why I serve as President of the Career Technical Education Foundation Board.
In Idaho's schools, we will teach our kids how to build, design, engineer, cook, serve, compute, barber, and work as police, firefighters, nurses, doctors, electricians, and plumbers.

On Government Reform:
Support election integrity that protect our republic
After the last election, when our Governor and Attorney General failed to do so, your Lieutenant Governor, along with a number of Idaho lawmakers concerned about state sovereignty, successfully filed an
Amicus Brief in support of every state's obligation to maintain a republican form of government as called for in the U.S. Constitution. We will continue to support election integrity efforts that strengthen and protect our republic.

On Gun Control:
A+ rating from NRA; fight encroachments on 2nd amendment
In my campaign for Lieutenant Governor, I earned an A+ rating from the NRA and an A+ endorsement from Dick Heller.
As your Governor, I will continue to fight against any encroachment on our 2nd Amendment Right, including any infringement coming from Washington, D.C.

On Health Care:
Support your right to try non-traditional health remedies
Whether it was supporting your right to try natural, non-traditional health remedies, speaking out against putting healthy people under house arrest, sponsoring legislation to provide for the expungement of criminal records
in certain cases, my strong belief in defending individual liberty has guided my actions. It still does today, even in a time when these seemingly old-fashioned notions have lost favor with the coastal elites.

On Health Care:
Defending state means rejecting enhanced federal Medicaid
Defending our state means making difficult decisions when the federal government tries to bribe us into compliance. It means rejecting an enhanced federal Medicaid match rate when accepting it would mean we lose the right to manage our own Medicaid
eligibility requirements. It means shredding the FEMA Covid agreement--because Idaho is mandated to grant federal access to our lands, hold the federal government harmless, and require compliance with unreasonable federal laws and executive orders.

On Principles & Values:
Inspired by Trump, joins him in "Draining the Swamp"
It was Donald Trump's campaign in 2016 that inspired me to get back into politics. His powerful message of restoring the voice of the forgotten man and challenging a rigged system inspired conservatives across the country to run for office--including me.
In 2018, I ran for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. We (the people) won on the promise of Draining the Swamp--both with President Trump in Washington, D.C. and with Lt. Jan in Idaho.
We are at a pivotal moment in history--not just for Idaho but for our nation. Everything that Makes America Great is under assault, and with radical leftists now controlling Congress and the
White House, your Governor must be on the front lines every day defending our individual rights, state sovereignty, and our traditional conservative values.

On Principles & Values:
God has created each of us in His image
Here in Idaho, we believe in God-given, unalienable rights. Last year, the Governor declared that some of your businesses and your employees were not essential. This proved to be very divisive and destructive and created widespread unemployment.
I am here to tell you that every life is essential and every job is essential. God has created each of us in His image and we each have a unique place in life.

On Tax Reform:
I have consistently fought against raising your tax burden
I have consistently fought against raising your tax burden, because we don't have a tax problem in Idaho--we have a spending problem. As a member of JFAC, I sponsored a spending limitation on local government and worked to keep spending in line
with the growth of the economy. [JFAC: Members of the Senate Finance Committee and the House Appropriations Committee meet as the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee.]
