Jessica Taylor in 2022 AL Senate race

On Budget & Economy: I'm a big supporter of the free market

She has she would start a conservative squad as a counterpoint to the one formed by Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar; Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib. She presents her faith in free markets with an accusation that those congresswomen are "brainwashing" younger voters into supporting socialism. "I am vehemently against any drift in that direction," she said in a recent interview. "I'm a big supporter of the free market and letting the private sector lead."

On Education: Will end brainwashing of children with Critical Race Theory

They call me "vile" because I'm a proud Alabama conservative who pledges to fight against Kamala Harris, this administration's power center. They brand me as a "dumb hick" because I will end their radical attempts to brainwash our children with Critical Race Theory. They call me "ignorant" because I won't stand by while they collude with Big Tech to censor conservatives and try to rewrite the rules so they can steal our elections.

On Energy & Oil: Let the private sector handle climate change

On climate change, Taylor said "we have got to be cognizant of that" but opposed the Green New Deal proposed by Ocasio-Cortez, saying she preferred the private sector handle it.

On Free Trade: For free trade, but China has been a bad actor

Taylor also supports Trump's trade policies, saying she is "for free trade" but feels Chinese trade policy has required an aggressive response. "I prefer free markets to be in place, but China has been a bad actor for a long time, stealing our intellectual property and a host of other aggressions," she said. "I do support what our president is doing right now."

On Health Care: Would vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act

[On ObamaCare]: "We have the best health care in the world here in the United States in part due to our free market society," she said. There are a lot of things in those countries not ideal, and by and large America is still the greatest country in the world, and that is due to our free market capitalism."

Taylor said she would vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act and said she would pursue "mixed models" that she considers more effective and would also seek to promote options like telehealth.

On Principles & Values: Flames of liberty make our country a shining city on a hill

Liberals are in a relentless pursuit of power, and they will not rest until they have snuffed out the flames of liberty that make our country a shining city on a hill. That's why I'm running - to fight at full-throttle for our conservative values. As Senator, I won't just launch Kamala Harris' liberal agenda into outer space-I'll fight to fire it out of this solar system. Let's get it done.
