2022 GA Senate race: on Energy & Oil

Herschel Walker: Will fight to make America energy independent once again

Gas and energy prices are skyrocketing as a result of bad Democratic energy policy decisions. If there's one thing we've learned from the past year, America cannot depend on other countries for our essential resources, including energy. Herschel will fight to make America energy independent once again, leading to lower gas prices, more American jobs being brought back from overseas, and stronger national security.

Herschel Walker: China and Russia not thinking about Green New Deal

His thoughts on energy policy: "They're giving our energy away to people that don't like us" and "China and Russia's not thinking about this Green New Deal." He suggested that Democratic energy policies were the reason for high gas prices and food-supply chain issues.

Chase Oliver: No carbon caps; no magic legislation

Q: What legislation do you support to address the existential threat of climate change?

CHASE OLIVER: It sounds great to say that we could just magically pass a bill and stop using less carbon and lower the carbon output. But that's just not the way it's going to work. Government involvement stifles innovation. We need to let the marketplace innovate: quit over-regulating green technology. We can fight climate change; that doesn't require massive government action; it doesn't require carbon caps or new government programs. It just requires us to buckle down and American innovation will develop the technologies. In the meantime, government doesn't really have a role in deciding what technology is going to be developing in the next few years.

RAPHAEL WARNOCK: In the church, we call it "Creation Care": we ought to be kind to the earth because it's the only place that we have. I'm glad that we passed the Inflation Reduction Act which represents record investment in a green energy future.

Raphael Warnock: Creation Care: invest in a green energy future

Q: What legislation do you support to address the existential threat of climate change?

CHASE OLIVER: It sounds great to say that we could just magically pass a bill and stop using less carbon and lower the carbon output. But that's just not the way it's going to work. It just requires us to buckle down and American innovation will develop the technologies that will power us into the future not using carbon-based fuels.

RAPHAEL WARNOCK: In the church, we call it "Creation Care": we ought to be kind to the earth because it's the only place that we have. I'm glad that we passed the Inflation Reduction Act which represents record investment in green energy and a green energy future. I've been leading the way in the creation of electric vehicle infrastructure right here in the state of Georgia [making] batteries for cars. I've also led the way with creating sustainable aviation fuel. There's so many things we need to do and I'm very focused on that work.
