Michael Soetaert: I endorse & support the creation of The Department of Peace

In 1793, Benjamin Rush published "A plan of a Peace-Office for the United States." It was designed to have an equal footing with the Department of War. It's goal & objective was to promote and preserve American peace both domestically and abroad. I endorse & support the creation of The Department of Peace, which is a proposed cabinet-level department of the executive branch of the federal government of the United States.
