On Health Care:
Implement and strengthen state health equity program
We must address the glaring health disparities which impact particularly communities of color in our state. I commend the Maryland General Assembly for creating a new Health Equity Resource Communities program this year to improve
healthcare in disadvantaged communities and we must do all we can to fully implement and strengthen this program. And let's never forget the pandemic's bitter teaching: All of us are at risk if some of us are denied care.
