Eric Greitens in 2022 MO Senate race
On Abortion:
Called for public prayer supporting anti-abortion centers
Gov. Eric Greitens asked audiences to pray for the "career politicians" prior to the special session he called to repeal a St. Louis city reproductive anti-discrimination ordinance and pass religious protections for pregnancy centers.
These religious-based centers received over $7 million in tax credits in the 2017 state budget but have zero state regulations mandating they provide medically accurate information (most don't) or employ medical staff (many don't).

Greitens declares himself to be "pro-life" and "proud to support life--the lives of mothers, their children and the innocent unborn."

On Civil Rights:
Stood with cops; restored law and order; defeated Antifa
Framing himself as a "fighter" and a stalwart backer of former President Donald Trump, Greitens unveiled his campaign during an interview on Fox News. "I was honored to serve the people of Missouri as their governor. We took on the establishment,
we killed a politicians' pay raise, we ended a corrupt tax-credit program. And when antifa came to Missouri, we stood side-by-side with police officers and we were able to restore law and order and defeat antifa," he said.

OpEd: most pro-police governor in the country
As governor, Greitens prohibited lobbyist gifts, killed a pay raise for politicians, and ended a corrupt tax credit program that lined the pockets of insiders at the expense of Missourians. He got rid of bureaucrats who failed our veterans.
He backed our cops. Let me say that again; He backed our cops. Every. Single. Day. He was the most pro-police governor in the country.

The defund-the-police movement has led to rising violence
[On defunding the police]: "I think when you look at what Joe Biden's done at the border. When you look at the left's campaign against the police. This tremendous defund the police movement which has led to rising violence.
When you look at the actions they've taken to kill small businesses. The actions they have taken that are hurting American workers. All of these things suggest to us, prove to us, the country is really in crisis right now," he said.

Cut $500,000 in funding for state rail service from Amtrak
The state contracts with Amtrak to provide rail service, though lawmakers have for years short-changed the railway. In 2017, for example, former
Gov. Eric Greitens cut $500,000 in funding for the service. The state also hasn't paid Amtrak its fair share of the bill since at least 2010 and owes an estimated $3 million.

On Families & Children:
Greitens was never "exonerated" of sexual misconduct
When Eric Greitens resigned from the Missouri governorship in 2018 amid allegations that he had sexually assaulted and blackmailed his former hairdresser, the embattled Republican maintained his innocence. [Announcing his 2022 candidacy], Greitens
blamed his woes on the media and a "George Soros-funded prosecutor." Then Greitens delivered the crucial lie: "We've been exonerated," he said.To recap: Greitens is accused of sexual assault and blackmail, and a recording of his victim speaking about
the abuse is the basis for a local news investigation. A jury finds the evidence solid enough to indict him. An investigator flubs a deposition, and the prosecutor is forced to pull back. The criminal cases against Greitens may have gone away, but he
was hardly "exonerated." Around the same time, the Missouri legislature launched dual investigations of Greitens--one based on [the sexual allegations] and the other for unrelated claims of campaign finance violations. Greitens stepped down.

AdWatch: Join MAGA and let's go RINO hunting!
In the ad, Greitens introduces himself as a "Navy SEAL" as he holds a long shotgun, announcing "Today, we're going RINO hunting!" He walks towards a residential home, as other anonymous soldiers in combat fatigues join him.The RINO "feeds on
corruption and is marked by the stripes of cowardice," says Greitens as his combat team breaks down the door of the home, toss a flash-bang grenade inside, and rush in.
"Join the MAGA Crew, get a RINO hunting permit," announces
Greitens inside the smoke-filled front room. "There's no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesn't expire until we save our country."
Viewers are then directed to go to Greitens' campaign website, where a $25 donation will get a sticker with
the "RINO Hunting Permit" design shown in the video.
It's not his first time selling "hunting permits." During his gubernatorial race in 2016, Greitens sold "ISIS Hunting Permits," but that was supposed to be about terrorists.

On War & Peace:
Jewish education inspired him to serve in Bosnia
At B'nai El I was influenced by a number of Holocaust survivors who were brought in to talk with the [religious school] class. In 1994, I was 20 years old, I went to Bosnia and lived in refugee camps and worked there with unaccompanied children.
These were kids who were separated from their parents or whose parents had died during the war. I don't think I would have been inspired to go to Bosnia without the Jewish education that I received and a number of the teachers I had.
