2022 MO Senate race: on Health Care

Billy Long: Notion of mandates straight out of the communist handbook

In an attempt to continue to politicize the COVID-19 pandemic, the Biden administration wants to mandate that all federal employees, workers at entities that receive federal funding, and workers at any private businesses with over 100 employees take the vaccine. His administration wants to control your life and impose government regulations on your personal freedoms. This is a notion straight out of the communist handbook. Receiving the vaccine should always remain a personal choice.

Dave Schatz: Not in favor of funding Medicaid expansion

Missouri voters amended the state Constitution to extend eligibility for Medicaid to thousands more low-income adults under Obama's national health care law. But Schatz told reporters that voters didn't get to weigh in on how to fund the expansion. "Without that, I'm not advocating that we would fund Medicaid expansion," Schatz said. "I think if voters had the opportunity to choose--given all the information--I don't believe they would have overwhelmingly passed Medicaid expansion."
