Mitt Romney:
Elections should be run on state level, not federal level
Sadly, this election reform bill that the president has been pushing, I never got a call on that from the White House. There was no negotiation, bringing in Republicans and Democrats together to try and come up with something that would meet
bipartisan interests. I would note on this, that on the bill they put together, that they want a real dramatic change, which is they feel that instead of elections being run at the state level, they should really be managed and run at the federal level.

January 6th committee investigation is legitimate
Q: The January 6th Committee, do you believe what they're doing is legitimate?ROMNEY: Well, there's no question but that they are finding things that we didn't know. And I think that's appropriate. There was an attack on the Capitol. There was
an effort to try and prevent the peaceful transfer of power. That's unacceptable. We need to understand why there was not a rescue effort launched well before what finally came. They're delving into that. I think it's an important and legitimate effort.

Pat Toomey:
Not clear if impeachment is valid after leaving office
[On Trump's second impeachment]: One, it's not clear the Constitution permits impeachment. conviction and prohibition against ever serving again, which is a separate vote, that that's permitted after a person has left office. Number two, I would
certainly hope, and I actually do believe, that the president has disqualified himself. I don't think he's a viable candidate for office ever again because of the outrageous behavior in the post-election period.

Ron Johnson:
Voter fraud not quackery; need hearings and investigations
I didn't criticize Democrats when they were talking about potential hacking of voting machines. But now it's quackery? Now it's conspiracy theory? There's a double standard here, and we are not being transparent, and we are dismissing the
concerns of tens of millions of Americans. I didn't light this fire. And the only way you solve it is with information, and transparency, and hearings, and investigations.

What I remind people of is that in the statewide election, you don't win county by county. You win person by person. And that's what we've been doing. Fair Fight has been willing to invest millions of dollars into organizations,
smaller groups, that have been doing the grassroots organizing and mobilizing that it's going to take to win. And we are very hopeful and very determined to do so.
