2022 OK Senate race: on Government Reform

James Lankford: For the People Act makes voting easy, cheating easy

Lankford went after S. 1--the For the People Act--and the Equality Act, saying the former "makes voting easy, cheating easy, and verifying elections impossible" and the latter a violation of religious liberty. S. 1 is a wide-ranging election reform bill that includes some provisions already in Oklahoma law, but others that are not. It generally loosens restrictions on registration and voting, and opponents say it infringes on the states' constitutional mandate to oversee elections.

Joan Farr: Mail-in ballots were used to keep Trump out of office

I believe that Covid was created to justify mail-in ballots to keep Trump out of office, and that the vaccine is the Mark of the Beast. I wholeheartedly support mass pro se lawsuits to end the pandemic.

Joan Farr: Pass Christian laws, don't pass laws favoring the minority

Over 70% of American's profess to be Christian, and I am in favor of passing laws that support the majority. I have never discriminated against anyone, I do believe in 'live and let live.' But we should not be passing laws that favor the minority, since passing too many laws restricts our freedoms.

Joan Farr: Signed U.S. Term Limits pledge

U.S. Term Limits praises Joan Farr for signing the pledge for an amendment to term limit Congress. Farr is the first signer in this race. USTL President Philip Blumel commented, "Joan's strong support of term limits shows that there are individuals who are willing to put self-interest aside to follow the will of the people. America needs a Congress that will be served by citizen legislators, not career politicians."

Kendra Horn: Voted FOR first Trump impeachment

Horn said she did not want to allow "a dangerous precedent," apparently referencing Trump's controversial conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Our founders put in place checks and balances between three co-equal branches of government to ensure that no one is above the law. Allowing one branch or president to ignore our laws and Constitution would set a dangerous precedent," Horn said. "The articles of impeachment before us allege an abuse of power and an obstruction of Congress. Inviting foreign interference in our elections strikes at the heart of our democracy, threatens our national security, and is an abuse of power. It is never acceptable for any president, regardless of party, to ask a foreign country to put their finger on the scale of our democracy."

T.W. Shannon: Voters have a lot of concerns over election security

Holland did not refer to President Joe Biden as "president" while announcing his candidacy. When asked by The Frontier if he believes Biden to be the duly elected president, Holland did not answer the question and started talking about election integrity. "He was sworn in under our Constitution," Holland said. "So one of the things that I really heard a lot about over the last couple of months and last year is the concerns that voters have over election security."
