Healthcare a human right, add public option to ACA
I believe that healthcare is a human right, and we need to ensure that everyone has access to quality affordable healthcare. I support adding a robust public option to the Affordable Care Act because
I believe that this is the fastest way to get everyone covered. We also must ensure that the public option is set up so people can seamlessly transition in and out of the public plan.

Ensure universal access to affordable health care
One of the most fundamental responsibilities of government is to ensure universal access to affordable health care. Chris has worked tirelessly to defend the Affordable Care Act against Republican attacks and increase access to mental health and other

Let Medicare negotiate prescription drug prices
Chris believes deeply in the promises we make to those who have earned the dignity of a secure retirement after paying into Medicare and Social Security all their working lives. He has been a leader in protecting and strengthening benefits for seniors

Government should never impose vaccine mandates
COVID lockdowns have damaged our children and destroyed small businesses, and the big government overreach has to stop. Unlike Anthony Fauci and President Biden, Dave trusts the American people and stands for personal freedom. He believes the government
should never impose vaccine mandates on citizens and children belong in school. Parents should be deciding what is best for their children, not teachers' unions and special interests.

David Roth:
Fix the gaps in the ACA, especially in under-served areas
The Affordable Care Act did much to expand access to critical healthcare. However, there are still some shortfalls. Of particular concern are the high cost of prescription drugs and the poor coverage of and access to mental health services,
especially in rural areas. I would like to see increased investments in telehealth infrastructure to bring critical services to underserved areas. I believe that we need to work to fix the gaps in the ACA.

Vaccine mandate is a backbreaker for small businesses
Jeff will fight back against any and all attempts at instituting a federal vaccine mandate. These mandates are a backbreaker for small businesses, driving up operating costs, and forcing even more businesses to close.
If the Coronavirus pandemic taught us one thing, it is that small businesses cannot afford more burdensome regulation from lawmakers who have no idea what running a business entails.

Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege
Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. We must provide affordable healthcare to every person and every community. Too many rural and urban hospitals have closed, while politicians play a pointless culture war instead of expanding Medicaid.

COVID isolation policy caused poor job market & inflation
[Letters posted on Twitter]: Dear Gavin,I appreciate your concern for Californians struggling to make ends meet with record inflation, gas prices, and a poor job market (which you caused with your COVID policies).
But government spending is what
has caused record inflation in the first place.
Your 'solution' will only make the problem worse. Your 'solution' doesn't get to the causes of inflation.
When I am elected to the U.S. Senate, I will start working on the root causes right away.
I will stop the reckless government spending.
Dear Dr. Fauci and Gavin Newsom,
Your policies during #covid where people were isolated not because of health status but based on your determination of how essential their
occupation was not only violated their Due Process rights but it also contradicted the science.
Follow the science should not be a sound bite, it should actually be the guiding principle of a governor and public health official.

Mehmet Oz:
Elites fighting COVID pandemic took away our freedom
Covid-19 became an excuse for government and elite thinkers who controlled the means of communication, especially social media and our major news agencies, to suspend debate. Doctors were forbidden from prescribing legal medications for the first time
in our nation's history. I tried to fund clinical trials to re-purpose an already widely used drug for possible benefits against Covid-19, but they were banned. Instead, government mandated policies that caused unnecessary suffering.
We were told to docilely lock down and let those in charge take care of the rest. When we tested positive for the virus, we were also told to wait at home until we got sick enough to warrant hospitalization.not a typical medical protocol.
Elites with yards told those without yards to stay inside--where the virus was more likely to spread. And the arrogant, closed-minded people in charge closed our schools, shut down our businesses and took away our freedom.

Expand access to private sector plans for prescription drugs
As a doctor, Oz has seen the inside of the massive health-care industrial complex. He's bravely argued against costly drugs, even as it made him a target of drug companies. As a U.S. Senator, he'll work to dismantle policies that lead to more
expensive prescription drugs for our seniors, and he'll expand access to private sector plans expanded by President Trump and beloved by seniors for their low costs and high quality that could be available to all Americans who want them.

Add essential vision, hearing, dental services to Medicare
Iowans deserve a health care system like the one I had in the military; one that provides high quality and affordable health care. A big first step is to make Medicare available starting at age 50. It can be improved by adding coverage for basic,
essential vision, hearing, and dental services. Adding this vital coverage will greatly improve the health and quality of life for older Iowans.

Let Medicare negotiate prescription drug prices
High drug prices are putting too many Iowans at risk. Many skip getting needed prescriptions filled, cut their pills in half, or take them less often than required. To drive down the cost, Medicare needs to do what the
Veterans Administration does--use its national purchasing power to negotiate prices with drug companies. We have a system in place that works. Let's expand it to benefit everyone.

Trudy Busch Valentine:
Reduce costs so every family can have access to quality care
Trudy is still a nurse at heart today. Trudy serves on a nursing board and works with multiple charitable organizations that focus on children's issues. In 2019, Saint Louis University established the "Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing."
As a former nurse, she knows first-hand how precious healthcare is to families, and how important it is to get healthcare costs down so that every family can have access to quality care.
Limiting the cost of insulin to $35. More than 37 million Americans live with diabetes, including at least 685,000 people in Missouri. On top of that, nearly 1.6 million people in our state--one third of the total adult population--have prediabetes.
As too many families know, living with diabetes can be very expensive. That's why Trudy supports capping the cost of insulin to $35 a month. Missourians shouldn't have to choose between their health and their basic necessities.
