What did we do? It was simple. It wasn't hard. We kept taxes low. Shocker. Ok? I reduced taxes to the lowest level ever. And what do you think happened? We grew by 12%. That's three times more than the State of Florida and that's six times more than the United States. We grew by 12% because we kept taxes low. What else did we do something? The federal government is incapable of doing. We balanced our budget.

Francis Suarez: Lower taxes to the lowest level in recorded history

We decided that with inflation at historic highs, with food prices going up, you know, with gas prices going up, that the right thing to do, the only right thing to do was do exactly the opposite of what every other government is doing, which is to lower taxes. And so we decided that the right message will be to lower to the lowest level in recorded history. And that's what our residents are going to be benefiting from.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: Exempt conversion of bitcoin from capital gains taxes

Kennedy announced his administration "will exempt the conversion of bitcoin to the U.S. dollar from capital gains taxes."

"The benefits include facilitating innovation and spurring investment, ensuring citizen privacy, incentivizing ventures to grow their business and tech jobs in the United States," he added. "Non-taxable events are unreportable and that means it will be more difficult for governments to weaponize currency against free speech, which is one of my principal objectives."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: Stimulate economy without raising taxes

Q: Would you raise taxes on people making under $400,000 a year?

KENNEDY: No, I would not. I'm not going to raise taxes. I don't think that that's the right thing to do right now. I think we really need to stimulate our economy. Another thing that I'm going to do is to create is a program that my uncle, Ted Kennedy, and John McCain originally advanced in 2007, and then it was advanced by a number of civil rights leaders, including Andrew Young and a number of others for a whole lot of reasons, a very good idea, to make passport cards free. So one of the, you know, one of the big penalties against being working poor in this country is that a lot of the working poor do not have a federal photo ID. And under the Patriot Act, the banks [are required to] investigate your ID and they don't want to handle the small accounts from poor people.
