Chris Christie: If you're pro-life it's got to be for the whole life

You know, I'm pro-life, but I think if you're pro-life, you got to be pro-life for the whole life, not just the nine months in the womb. I believe every life is an individual gift from God, and it's precious. And if you believe that in your heart, then that applies just as much to the 16-year-old young woman drug addicted on the floor of the county lockup or the 52-year-old lawyer who got addicted to opioids and has now driven his life off the road.

Mike Pence: Won't rest until sanctity of life is center of American law

I couldn't be more proud to have been vice president in an administration that appointed three of the justices that sent Roe versus Wade to the ash heap of history where it belongs and gave America a new beginning for life. Many states I'm proud to say have advanced pro-life legislation, but we have a long way to go to win the hearts and minds of the American people.

We will not rest or relent until we restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law in every state in the country.

Nikki Haley: I think we can all agree on banning late-term abortions

I think we can all agree on banning late-term abortions. I think we can all agree on encouraging adoptions. I think we can agree on doctors and nurses who don't believe in abortions shouldn't have to perform them. I think we can agree that contraception should be accessible. I think we can all say any woman that has an abortion shouldn't be jailed or given the death penalty. Our goal should always be how do we save as many babies as we can and support as many mothers in that process as we do it?

Ron DeSantis: Defend the rights of states to enact pro-life protections

Well, clearly, states have the primary role in this, because that's what it was all of American history until 1973. So, you have states like Iowa that have enacted heartbeat bill. Florida has enacted a heartbeat bill. Other states have done other things. And so that's just, I think, where the country is right now. So, we will be somebody that will defend particularly the rights of states to be able to enact pro-life protections.

Kamala Harris: Many pro-life people didn't intend it would happen like this

I find that many people I've met who are pro-life have said to me, I didn't intend that this would happen. I didn't intend that women who are suffering a miscarriage would develop sepsis as has happened many times. I didn't intend that women would die. I didn't intend that there would now be restrictions on access to in vitro fertilization. This is probably one of the most fundamental freedoms that we as Americans could imagine which is the freedom to make decisions about your own body.
