On Principles & Values: Endorsed by Fraternal Order of Police in 2016, 2020, & 2024

The National President of the Fraternal Order of Police announced today that the members of the FOP voted to endorse Donald J. Trump for President: "Public safety and border security will be important issues in the last months of this campaign. Our members carefully considered the positions of the candidates on the issues and there was no doubt--zero doubt--as to who they want as our President for the next four years: Donald J. Trump."

The FOP’s endorsement process is unique in that every member has the opportunity, through our 46 State Lodges, to make their choice known to the National Trustee. The National Trustee casts his or her vote at our National Board meeting. In order to secure our endorsement, the candidate needs the support of two-thirds of the State Lodges, a benchmark former President Trump easily cleared.

"The National FOP endorsed Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020. He led our nation through some very tough times," the FOP President said.

On Principles & Values: Endorsed by independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his independent campaign for the White House and endorsed Donald Trump, a late-stage shakeup of the race that could give the former president a modest boost from Kennedy’s supporters. Hours later, Kennedy joined Trump onstage at an Arizona rally, where the crowd burst into "Bobby!" cheers.

Kennedy cited free speech, the war in Ukraine and "a war on our children" as among the reasons he would try to remove his name from the ballot in battleground states.

"These are the principal causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump," Kennedy said. Kennedy said his actions followed conversations with Trump over the past few weeks. He cast their alliance as "a unity party," an arrangement that would "allow us to disagree publicly and privately and seriously." Kennedy suggested Trump offered him a job if he returns to the White House, but neither he nor Trump offered details.

On Principles & Values: Endorsed by Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman, has endorsed the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

Gabbard, who served in the military in Iraq, ran for president in the Democratic primary in 2020. She quit the party two years later and has become a fixture at conservative conferences and in rightwing media.

Addressing a National Guard Association conference in Detroit, Michigan, where Trump was speaking, Gabbard said: "This administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts in regions around the world and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before. This is one of the main reasons why I’m committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he can once again serve us as our commander-in-chief. Because I am confident that his first task will be to do the work to walk us back from the brink of war."

Gabbard represented Hawaii in Congress and is a former vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee.
