2024 MD Senate race: on Civil Rights

David Trone: Celebrate all had bravery and courage to come out as LGBTQ

On National Coming Out Day, I am celebrating all who have had the bravery and courage to come out as LGBTQ. Every story matters in the fight to advance equality. No matter where you are in your journey, I stand with you.

Angela Alsobrooks: Will stand up for the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans

Angela appointed the first-ever LGBTQ+ liaison to better serve the community and connect members of the LGBTQ+ community to critical County resources. She will continue to stand up for the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans, including the right to marry, grow their families, and live free from discrimination, in the Senate. She will strongly oppose Republican efforts to undermine equality and promote discrimination including the recent wave of anti-trans legislation in some Republican led legislatures.
