2024 NV Senate race: on Government Reform
Sam Brown:
Nevada lands belong to the people, not DC bureaucrats
The Bureau of Land Management controls over 48 million acres of Nevada, a major piece of the 86% of Nevada owned by the federal government. As Nevada's U.S. Senator, I consider it a prime responsibility of mine to see that these lands are released from
the federal government, back to our state and counties over time. This land belongs to the people of Nevada, not D.C. power brokers and bureaucrats. Nevadans deserve the right to decide how to cultivate and manage our lands and natural resources.

Sam Brown:
Election integrity legislation will be a top priority
Every fraudulent vote cancels out a real vote. I want it to be easier to vote and harder to cheat. Passing election integrity legislation will be a top priority as a U.S. Senator. Every day, Americans are required to present identification to access
even the most basic services. It should be the same for any person casting a ballot in an election. Voter ID is a common sense and highly effective way to secure our elections immediately.

Internet pioneer fought efforts to overly regulate it
In 1994 realizing the potential magnitude of the Internet, Jim founded and operated one of the first Internet service provider companies in the country. Being a pioneer in the Internet industry, Jim fought efforts by the Government to overly
regulate the new revolutionary technology. And for that reason, Jim founded the Federation of Internet Service Providers of America (FISPA) and served as President for six years.
