Survey of 2024 Presidential campaign websites: on Abortion

Marianne Williamson: Protect the right of every woman to make her own decisions

As president, I would seek to protect the right of every woman to make her own decisions, in her own way, regarding her reproductive choices. The choice of whether or not to terminate a pregnancy is difficult enough without the government weighing in on the decision. I would vigorously resist any effort to restrict, limit, or diminish the reproductive rights and freedoms granted by Roe v. Wade.

Nikki Haley: As UN ambassador condemned regimes using forced abortion

Nikki was one of the most pro-life governors in America. As governor, she signed many important pieces of legislation, including the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (outlawing abortion at 20 weeks). At the UN, Nikki continued to champion life, condemning violent regimes that use forced abortion as a means of population control and punishment.

Tim Scott: Against the radical left pushing taxpayer-funded abortion

Life has intrinsic value because it comes from God. With a 100% pro-life voting record, we must stand up against the radical left pushing taxpayer-funded abortion up until the moment of birth. This starts by fostering a culture of life, and winning the hearts and minds of Americans.

Chase Oliver: Pro-choice, but no federal funding

RESPECTING INDIVIDUAL CHOICE ON TOUGH ISSUES: I recognize the complexity of this issue and how there can be good faith positions on both sides of the abortion debate. I am supportive of leaving these decisions out of the hands of the government and letting this decision rest with individuals in consultation with their doctors. I am pro-choice and will support efforts to protect bodily autonomy while also advocating for the Hyde Amendment which prevents federal dollars from funding abortions.

Ryan Binkley: I was thankful when the court overturned Roe v. Wade

I'm proudly pro-life, and I believe that every life matters. I was thankful when the court overturned Roe v. Wade because I believe in the worth and value of every human life. However, when we talk about being pro-life, the children in foster care are often left out of the conversation. Being pro-life means recognizing that every life matters and has a God-given purpose.
