Survey of 2024 Presidential campaign websites: on Drugs
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:
End War on Drugs, amnesty for nonviolent drug offenders
We will also take special care to ensure the civil liberties of minorities and the poor. We will end the failed War on Drugs and grant amnesty to nonviolent drug offenders. We will shut the school-to-prison pipeline,
and transition prisons away from a punishment paradigm to a rehabilitation paradigm. Prisons will be an intervention in a life gone wrong, and a way to prevent offenders from harming others again.

Perry Johnson:
Investigate, arrest and prosecute high level dealers
I would immediately add equipment and manpower at the border to stop the flow of fentanyl into the country. Drugs coming out of China are killing Americans and I will be unafraid to stand up to China as President. I would also task federal law
enforcement agencies to stop at nothing to investigate, arrest and prosecute high level dealers and drug lords operating within the United States. They are killing mothers, fathers, sons and daughters on a daily basis.

Don Blankenship:
Mandatory drug testing for all high government officials
Most Americans are aware that our country is infested with drug addicts. We know "drug addiction" is a major American problem. All high ranking government officials should be tested to determine if they are using illegal drugs. But there is another
addiction that is also destroying America, "our country". I call it "power addiction". The American Government has many high ranking officials who are "power addicts". This "power addiction" creates symptoms in our
Government Officials much like "drug addiction" creates in hundreds of thousands of Americans.
The similar symptoms which both government "power addicts" and American "drug addicts" suffer from are blurred vision, irrational behavior, stealing and
wasting money, and continually seeking more of what they are addicted to, I.e., to seek a "fix". The fact and my point is that "power addicts" will always seek to take away your rights because it is a temporary "fix" for their addiction.

Chase Oliver:
Decriminalize cannabis; end failed war on drugs
As the failed war on drugs drags into its fifth long decade, we can all see that the policies of strict prohibition and prison need to change.
I will immediately act to remove all federal laws criminalizing cannabis and end burdensome regulatory hurdles like federal banking regulations, placed on the cannabis industry. As President,
I will deschedule cannabis with the stroke of a pen – legislation isn't required. I will also issue full pardons for persons who were convicted solely for non-violent drug offenses, and urge every governor to do the same.
It's time to end more than two generations of regressive, harmful, and unproductive drug policy and move America into a new chapter.
