Marianne Williamson in Survey of 2024 Presidential campaign websites
On Abortion:
Protect the right of every woman to make her own decisions
As president, I would seek to protect the right of every woman to make her own decisions, in her own way, regarding her reproductive choices. The choice of whether or not to terminate a pregnancy is difficult enough without the government weighing
in on the decision. I would vigorously resist any effort to restrict, limit, or diminish the reproductive rights and freedoms granted by Roe v. Wade.

On Civil Rights:
Denial of LGBTQ rights is a stain on our national character
There is still no federal law explicitly protecting the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities from discrimination. These communities, therefore, do not enjoy the full breadth of freedoms that this country
espouses to guarantee to each and every citizen. This is in direct violation of our founding principles. The idea that there should be God-given life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, "except for them," is a stain on our national character.

On Civil Rights:
Use presidency to advocate for the things women care about
As the first woman President, I would be deeply aware of my pivotal role in ushering in a new era of female leadership. If I am given the authority, I will use the full powers of the presidency to advocate for the things women care about.
Statistics show us that women care more about the environment, and the earth itself than most men. Consequently, it is not only supporting women economically but adopting their mindsets of protection of community and planet, that needs to be a priority.

On Corporations:
Increase protections for corporate whistleblowers
- Increase protections for corporate whistleblowers and heavily penalize corporations that engage in retaliation and discrimination for acts of whistleblowing.
- Encourage corporations to implement a culture of protecting whistleblowing.
-
Increase FBI and other corporate watchdog organization staffing and funding, to specifically target corporate crimes.
- Ensure that CEOs and executives are held criminally liable when their corporations knowingly do harm.

On Corporations:
Government has become a handmaiden to a new corporate order
When the Supreme Court granted to companies the preposterous notion of "corporate personhood," billions and even trillions of dollars started flowing in the direction of a system deeming itself responsible only to its stockholders.
Its complete disregard for the welfare of the least advantaged and the least powerful among us--even of the planet itself--became inevitable. For all intents and purposes, our government has become a handmaiden to a new corporate order.

On Crime:
Punishment instead of rehabilitation leads to more crime
In America, our approach to managing violence and crime has typically trended towards largely ineffective punitive approaches, ignoring the underlying causes of our problems. In addition, the punitive--rather than rehabilitative--
approach to holding violent criminals accountable only increases the statistical probability that, once released, such criminals will again perpetrate acts of violence.
What we need to do is to examine the prison population we have and undertake a concerted, national discourse on how to reduce our prison population. Being that the vast majority of prisoners are locked up in state and local prisons,
we need a populist movement in each state to release as many non-violent prisoners as possible--and to prepare them for their freedom at the same time. There is no issue where the bully pulpit of the White House is more necessary.

On Energy & Oil:
I will treat global warming problem holistically
As president, I will treat the problem holistically. Global warming harms the weather patterns which harms agriculture and animals which harms people's capacity to live in certain areas which harms the city-to-rural
ratio which harms social stability which creates a refugee crisis which all together lead toward untold catastrophe. What is imperative is that we awaken now and take immediate, bold steps to change course.

On Families & Children:
Massively realign investment in the direction of children
We know that a child's brain is infinitely more flexible, emotionally intelligent, and capable of learning and retaining information than an adult's. The neuroplasticity in the brain of a child is at its height before the age of eight. As a consequence,
I would call for a massive realignment of investment in the direction of children. Every school, every library, every community, should be a place where learning, nature, the arts and all forms of sustainable living are celebrated and fostered.

On Government Reform:
We should know if food is made from GMOs: require labels
The United States has over 180 million acres of GMO crops under cultivation. We should at least know when we are eating food made from GMOs. While the Big 6 pesticide makers--particularly Monsanto and Dupont--
spent tens of millions of dollars to defeat GMO labeling propositions in both California and Washington State, as president I would seek to limit their power. I would work to label all GMOs, and to strengthen consumer protection by the FDA and USDA.

On Gun Control:
Treat gun violence against children as an emergency
Americans have no way of knowing the consequences, several years from now, of generations of young children going to school every day praying that they will not be shot. Gun violence is the largest cause of death among America's children.
This situation is an emergency, and a President Williamson will treat it as such.

On Health Care:
Take a whole body systems approach to cultivating health
The Williamson administration will provide major funding for research and education around how health is impacted by nutrition, exercise, stress, community and toxins in our food and environment. It will also support effective leading-edge approaches
like Integrative and Functional medicine--which take a whole body systems approach to cultivating health and healing disease. My administration will:- Update the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
-
Ensure all public housing is accessible as required by the ADA.
- Pass Universal healthcare and extend health coverage--including coverage for home care--to currently uninsured
Americans, and make sure that all health insurance covers at-home care.
- Work to transition currently institutionalized people with disabilities to supported independent living, as appropriate.

On Homeland Security:
Fix budget to keep, maintain and create sustainable peace
This department will focus on reallocating existing budgets in more appropriate and coordinated ways to keep, maintain and create sustainable peace. The key funding question for the U.S. Department of Peace is simply a matter of
changing where the money goes, with a renewed focus on peace-building, humanitarian aid, and development as a key to our national security.

On Immigration:
Calling border situation a crisis is a simply a distraction
Although there are certainly reasonable changes that need to be made in our immigration policies, the idea that we have a crisis is simply a canard. Calling our border situation a crisis is simply a means of distracting Americans from seeing
who and what is really leeching our resources, who and what is really undercutting our power, and who and what is really stealing our democracy. In fact, over the last decade, undocumented immigration has been going down.

On Principles & Values:
Help country atone for genocide against Native Americans
Through economic renewal, societal respect, artistic expression and--most importantly--a president intent on helping Americans atone for genocide and cultural annihilation, we will seek to heal as much as possible what has been broken and
begin the historic process of writing a new American story. Through a spirit of genuine atonement, colonial America will reconcile with a horrific past relationship to Native Americans, so that we can all move forward together, as a stronger nation.

On Social Security:
Under no circumstances should we put Social Security at risk
Social Security has worked well for generations to reduce poverty among seniors and the disabled. It is under attack today by Wall Street banks and related financial "service" entities who want to privatize it for no other reason than to tap into
another new and huge source of income and bonuses. Under no circumstances should we put Social Security at risk. We need to protect this successful and compassionate program that retiring Americans have relied on for nearly eighty-five years.

On Welfare & Poverty:
Declare an unconditional war on poverty, end homelessness
A Williamson administration will work with lawmakers to:- Declare an unconditional war on poverty and aim to relieve and cure its symptoms in order to find solutions to prevent it.
- Restore and make permanent the enhancement of Child Tax Credit.
- Lift poverty wages by raising the federal minimum wage to $15 by 2025.
- Ensure Universal rent control and a prohibition on rental deposits.
- End homelessness and housing insecurity with a Homes Guarantee.
