Allen Waters: Stop overburdening our businesses with needless regulation

In contrast to the incumbent "millionaire," as he styled Wolf, Waters promised to be "your neighbor" speaking up on bread-and-butter issues. Pacing back and forth, Waters ticked them off: education reform (he blasted Democrats for keeping a lid on charter schools), lowering the sales and state income taxes, instituting tax credits for small businesses as they raise wages under the new minimum wage law, and putting a stop to "overburdening our businesses with needless regulation."

Allen Waters: Signed pledge to support term limits on Congress

U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the non-partisan national movement to limit terms for elected officials, praises 2022 U.S. house candidate for Rhode Island, Allen Waters (district 1), for signing the pledge for an amendment to term limit Congress. The term limits amendment resolutions would require a two-thirds majority in the House and Senate, and ratification by 38 states, in order to become part of the U.S. Constitution.
