Elissa Slotkin: Bring critical supply chains and manufacturing back home

Elissa believes that we need to make more critical items in America, so that we are in control of our own economic security. She pushed leaders in both parties to pass the CHIPS Act into law to manufacture microchips in the U.S. and protect Michigan's auto industry. And she championed bills like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to rebuild our roads, bridges, and water infrastructure. In the Senate, Elissa will work every day to bring critical supply chains and manufacturing back home.

James Craig: Combat Chinese influence with America First policies

China is America's clear enemy. China is a totalitarian state that rules with an iron fist, arbitrarily imprisoning its citizens, censoring dissident speech, and monitoring the activities of expatriates abroad. America can combat Chinese influence by implementing America First policies which encourage domestic manufacturing, developing strong ties with states susceptible to the Beijing sphere of influence, and prioritizing national security in future dealings with the Chinese.

Glenn Elliott: I will support fair trade that benefits our workers

My vision involves harnessing our traditional manufacturing prowess while pivoting towards the industries of the future. In the Senate, I will fight for policies that drive innovation, support fair trade that benefits our workers, and craft foreign policies that protect American interests from foreign dumping and other anti-competitive practices and promote global stability. Our work ethic is unmatched; our policies should match this strength.

Mark Lamb: United States must decouple our economy from China

The Chinese Communist Party terrorizes their own people, controls every aspect of their lives, stifles any dissent, and even holds the Uyghurs in concentration camps. Our political establishment as well as Western media are silent, refusing to hold China accountable for any of these atrocities. This is in large part tied to our economic dependence on China. If we fail to decouple our economy from theirs, we will never meaningfully confront the singular force of evil that is the CCP.

Royce White: Globalism enslaves free people & destroys businesses

What is globalism? It is the international merger of the military, media, and medical global industries, big tech, and the global banks into a system of authoritarian control that enslaves free people and destroys the independent family-owned businesses that traditionally have been the backbone of the USA economy. I will introduce legislation that will encourage the on-shoring of all our imported supplies purchased from Chinese-owned companies producing in China or anywhere else in the world.

John Deaton: Return American jobs lost to China with fair trade deals

For over two decades, politicians in both parties have let China run amok on the global stage. Communist China steals our intellectual property, and manipulates their currency to undercut American workers.

China seeks to expand its geopolitical influence across the Middle East, Africa, and increasingly, Europe. To counter the growing threat of Communist China, we should pursue pro-growth economic policies, at home, to make America a more competitive place to invest and create jobs. We must also improve our relationships with our trading partners so we can increase our exports to foreign markets and return American jobs lost to China.

China is without question America's biggest economic competitor, and we must maintain the global advantage. Negotiating fair trade deals, addressing trade imbalances, and attracting foreign investments will help significantly. We must incentivize and support small businesses. We maintain a global advantage by investing in innovation and technology.
