On Crime: Criminalize overcharging for leverage against defendants

Propose legislation that criminalizes the weaponization of the legal system: In criminal cases, prosecutors must be held to the same or a greater standard, especially considering the significantly greater resources currently at a prosecutor's disposal relative to most defendants. For example, knowingly overcharging to create leverage is criminal in the proposed legislation.

On Education: Promote replication of Charter Schools and School Choice

Education is a right and educated citizens are a national interest. Our entire educational system requires examination because it is an 19th century model still operating in the 21 st century. We must fight to promote analysis and replication of successful endeavors such as Charter Schools and School Choice.

On Energy & Oil: Energy debate should not be expressed in extreme policies

Westchester's economy will slow down significantly due to the moratorium on new natural gas hookups. This is happening during a domestic natural gas and energy boom, no less. This story is of national significance and must be prevented with policy reform and focused improvements in infrastructure. The debate about energy should not be expressed in extreme policies that pain citizens and workers but have little impact on the lives of the legislators implementing these heartless plans.

On Gun Control: 99% of all background checks to be completed within 3 hours

The Bill of Rights affords every citizen the right to own a weapon. That right must be safeguarded with background checks and a limitation on some weapons of war. We must use technology allowing for 99% of all background checks to be completed within 3 hours.

On Health Care: Medicare-for-all is unrealistic and un-American

People should have choice in healthcare. At the same time, healthcare is a human right and the government must ensure that all American can access healthcare. Medicare-for-all is unrealistic and un-American. We must incentivize healthy living because healthy citizens give more and take less from the government.

On Principles & Values: American freedom is special and cannot be taken for granted

Josh knows that the American Dream is real because he's lived it. Josh's father survived Auschwitz, slave labor and the Communist Revolution in Hungary before immigrating to the United States. Josh's experiences as the child of immigrants has inspired his love of community, pride in his heritage and commitment to ensuring that the American Dream isn't blocked by big government intervention in our lives. He also knows that American freedom is special and cannot be taken for granted.

On Principles & Values: Law doesn't compel public space void of spiritual expression

The protections separating church and state are under attack. Many Americans feel unsafe expressing religious or spiritual affiliation. Respect for the intangible space between and among people manifests in legal allowances for spiritual articulation into that space. Further, precedent sets that protections of church and state separations extend to accommodation of personal religious conviction in public space. Such protections don't compel a public space void of spiritual expression.

On Principles & Values: We have the best laws in the history of mankind

Our educational system must also reflect a set of national values that bind us. We know how we are different from China and North Korea and Russia and France. What is it that binds us and brings us together? In one word: Law. We have the best laws in the history of mankind, so great that leaders of other nations do business in the USA because of its trusted legal system. Immigrants file asylum cases in the USA because they know that even the undeserving get a fair hearing.
