On Abortion: Pro-life

Parkinson described himself as pro-life but declined to directly answer a question about what limits on abortion rights he thinks are most appropriate, including whether he supports exceptions in cases of rape, incest or danger to the life of the mother.

On Education: Will be a warrior defending parental rights in education

Scott will be a warrior for the middle class, honing in on the fiscal insanity in Washington, championing economic growth policies, defending parental rights in education, and restoring public safety on our streets. Scott will fight for parents' rights, veterans' benefits against the bureaucracy, and senior citizens against Leftist radicals that want to end Medicare as we know it.

On Government Reform: Will fight for term limits on Members of Congress

Tim Kaine has been on the ballot 9 times, held elected office for almost 30 years. That's why Virginia deserves an honest leader like Scott Parkinson who will fight for term limits on Members of Congress. Scott strongly believes the role of our federal government is that of a Constitutionally limited Republic with an explicit separation of powers to protect and defend our unalienable God-given rights within the powers vested in the Constitution to the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branch.

On Government Reform: Roll back government regulations that stifle opportunity

Parkinson plans to campaign on a promise to cap the growth of government spending and reduce taxation. He voiced support for doubling down on Trump-era tax cuts and rolling back government regulations "stifling American opportunity."

"I'm terrified about what the future of the American economy looks like for my kids," Parkinson said. "And so that will be a big, big element of our campaign, when we create a movement to rescue the middle class."

On Budget & Economy: Opposing balanced budget amendment is irresponsible

It is also imperative for Washington to responsibly address the debt crisis that has resulted in a $33 trillion national debt. The apprehension to enact a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution is irresponsible and mind-boggling. If a family must live within a budget, so must the government. In 2024, American voters will make a choice between a radical ideology and kitchen table issues such as the costs of food, gas, and housing.

On Budget & Economy: Advocated for economic freedom, opportunity, and liberty

In 2018, Scott was Representative Ron DeSantis' Chief of Staff while DeSantis successfully won the Governor race in Florida. After serving as DeSantis' deputy executive director of his Gubernatorial transition team in Tallahassee, Scott joined the Club for Growth as Vice President of Government Affairs, where he has advocated for economic freedom, opportunity, and liberty.

Scott believes it is time for new conservative leaders like him to step up & run for political office because too many career politicians like Tim Kaine and Joe Biden have failed the American People and are disconnected from economic and cultural reality.

On Government Reform: Deconstruct the regulatory state that crowds out investment

Political fear caused an economic crisis, and it will take political courage to reverse course and improve the economic situation for all Americans. Restoring energy independence, enacting pro-growth tax reforms that incentivize job creation, risk-taking, and entrepreneurship, and deconstructing the administrative, regulatory state that crowds out investment and innovation are just a few ways policymakers can get the economy humming again so that household costs decrease.

On Government Reform: Legitimate concerns about election integrity & voter rolls

Asked if he believes the 2020 presidential election was free and fair, he expressed concerns about the accuracy of voter rolls. Parkinson said he would not describe the election as being stolen, as Trump falsely has, but believes there are "legitimate concerns" around the country about election integrity.

On Government Reform: Will fight for term limits on Members of Congress

Tim Kaine has been on the ballot 9 times, held elected office for almost 30 years, and enabled these out-of-touch policies by voting with Bernie Sanders 94% of the time. That's why Virginia deserves an honest leader like Scott Parkinson who will fight for term limits on Members of Congress.
